Today, Metsatöll begins recording their 4th album in the Finnvox studio in Finland.

Last week, Metsatöll finished recording the demo version of their 4th album, which was begun earlier, in March. In mid-June, the entire studio was moved from Tallinn to a South-Estonian village of Hargla, where the songs received finishing touches. According to the guys themselves, leaving Tallinn behind meant a complete recovery of creativity, which can never be achieved in a big city.
Today, the band begins recording their 4th album in the Finnvox studio in Finland. The album is recorded and mixed by perhaps the most legendary Finnish producer Mikko Karmila. Over the years, he has provided his services to such bands as Nightwish, Children of Bodom, Stratovarius, Stone, Peer Günt, Kotiteollisuus, Amorphis, Waltari, Tarot, Timo Kotipelto, Timo Tolkki, Popeda, Sonata Arctica, etc. The album will be all about finished by early December, and will be released to the global distribution networks on 6 March, 2010.
